Teacher Training

At the start of September, our dedicated teaching staff came together for their annual professional development sessions, a vital requirement for maintaining certification to teach in Haiti. These trainings not only uphold compliance standards but also strengthen the quality of education we provide.

In addition to certification renewal, the sessions served as an opportunity for all staff members to collaborate, review strategies, and plan comprehensively for the upcoming academic year. The program covered both general education for grades K–8 and specialized subject areas, ensuring that our curriculum remains diverse and well-rounded.

Specialized training was offered in:

  • English

  • Spanish

  • French

  • Creole

  • Citizenship Education

  • Biology

  • Sports and Arts

  • Technology

This multi-day program reflects our commitment to continuous improvement. By investing in both general and specialized training, we ensure that students receive a consistent, progressive, and holistic education. More importantly, it highlights the dedication of our teachers, who continually strive to expand their expertise and enrich the learning experience for every student at St. Luc School.
