HEADCorp Volunteer Board Members

 

Jim Quinney, President

Jim works with Rise Against Hunger, where he partners with community organizations, schools, and civic groups to raise awareness about global food insecurity and coordinate service initiatives. He brings extensive experience in nonprofit engagement, volunteer mobilization, and community outreach to HEADCorp. Jim has also traveled to Haiti multiple times, providing firsthand insight into the community and strengthening the organization’s connection to St. Luc School. As President, he provides leadership and strategic direction, supporting fundraising efforts and expanding awareness of HEADCorp’s mission.

Rick Lovin, Vice President

Rick is a production and operations manager of an electronic manufacturing company with extensive experience in technical operations and project coordination. He has led initiatives engaging students and community groups in assembling solar lighting kits for underserved communities, including projects supporting Haiti. Rick first traveled to Haiti in 2014 with Living Waters International to help drill a water well, an experience that deepened his commitment to service. He has been involved with HEADCorp since its founding; contributing his technical expertise, hands-on problem solving, and long-standing dedication to improving opportunities for children in underserved communities.

Sara Postulka, Secretary & Treasurer

Sara is Commercial Counsel for a financial technology company, where she focuses on payments-related contracts with card networks and banking partners. In her role with HEADCorp, she supports the organization’s governance, budgeting, and financial oversight. Sara traveled to Haiti in 2003 and 2004 with a student group through the University of Connecticut; experiences that shaped her long-standing commitment to expanding educational opportunities for children in underserved communities. She joined the HEADCorp Board in 2019. Sara has also volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), working directly with foster youth in her local community.

Jack Dillon, Board Member

Jack has been actively involved in community service, outreach, and mentorship for many years. His commitment to serving others was deepened in 2014 when he traveled to Haiti with Living Waters International to assist in drilling a water well – an experience that continues to shape his passion for supporting communities in need. Jack has been a member of the HEADCorp Board since its founding in 2018. Jack also serves in prison outreach and retreat-based programs, walking alongside individuals in underserved and transitional circumstances. He has been married for over 50 years and is blessed with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; grounding his life and service in faith, family, and compassion. 

Melissa Lovin, Board Member

Melissa is a real estate professional and administrative assistant with experience in client service, organization, and operational support. She brings strong attention to detail and coordination skills to HEADCorp, supporting the organization’s administrative needs and day-to-day functions. Melissa has been a dedicated supporter of HEADCorp since its founding in 2018 and joined the Board in 2022, continuing her commitment to expanding educational opportunities for children in rural Haiti.

Madison Lovin, Communications Specialist

Madison is an internal communications professional with a background in journalism and public relations. She earned her degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where she developed expertise in strategic communication and messaging. Madison supports HEADCorp’s internal and external communications, helping to share the organization’s mission and connect with supporters. Having grown up closely connected to HEADCorp’s work, she brings both professional skills and a personal commitment to expanding educational opportunities for children in Haiti.

Theresa Allen, Board Member

Theresa is the Chief Operating Officer of a mid-sized structural engineering firm, where she leads operations, organizational strategy, and team management. She brings strong leadership and operational expertise to HEADCorp, supporting the organization’s growth and long-term planning. Theresa has long been committed to service, supporting both local and global outreach efforts, including organizations serving communities in Haiti such as Living Water International and Rise Against Hunger. She joined the HEADCorp Board in 2022 and is dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for children in underserved communities.
