Meet Our Volunteer Team!
Jim Quinney
President of HEADCorp
Jim currently serves as the Community Engagement Manager for Rise Against Hunger, an international hunger relief agency. Prior to that, Jim owned and operated an insurance agency for 34 years in Florida and California. In 2014, a trip to drill a water well in Haiti dramatically changed his perspective and he immediately began working to make a difference in people’s lives via water, nutrition and education. In 2017, Jim participated in an exploratory trip to Thomassique, Haiti to meet with a small church that desperately needed assistance with education in their community. They found a very loving community, but the children had visible signs of under-nourishment, micro-nutrient deficiency, parasites from contaminated water, and much-needed educational assistance. This was the beginning of an ongoing relationship with St. Luc School, subsequent trips and constant communication. In 2018, Haiti Education and Development Corporation 501(c)(3) non-profit was formed in California and he serves as President.
Rick Lovin
Vice President of HEADCorp
RIck is an Electronics Engineer and Electronics Manufacturing Manager. He grew up and lives in the Sacramento area with his wife and two daughters. His background in electronics led him to get involved with engaging youth and school groups to put together solar lighting kits to be sent to underserved communities. The first two batches of kits were made to send to Haiti. In 2014, Rick traveled to Haiti to drill a water well near Cap-Haitien with Living Water International. At the end of that week-long trip, a small community had access to clean drinking water and Rick found a new calling to serve others. Rick has been involved with Haiti Education and Development Corporation since its inception in 2018.
Sara Postulka
Secretary & Treasurer of HEADCorp
Sara is a Commercial Contracts Manager for a financial technology company. While attending college, she traveled to Haiti in 2003 and 2004 with a student group through the University of Connecticut. Those experiences profoundly impacted her life and she was thrilled to join the Board of HEADCorp in 2019. Sara is currently serving as Secretary & Treasurer of Haiti Education & Development Corporation.
Jack Dillon
HEADCorp Board Member
Before retiring in 2014, Jack was a partner in a Manufacturing Representative firm. In 2014, Jack traveled with Living Waters International to drill a well in Haiti. That trip was a very moving experience for Jack, and left a lasting compassion to help our beloved friends in Haiti in any way he possibly can. Jack also currently volunteers his time with Kairos and Cursillo. Jack has been a Board Member of HEADCorp since its inception in 2018.
Melissa Lovin
HEADCorp Board Member
Melissa is a realtor with Dollars For Heroes Real Estate Group. She has been a passionate supporter & cheerleader of HEADCorp since its inception in 2018. She officially joined our Board in 2022, and looks forward to taking an even more active role in supporting HEADCorp’s work for children in Haiti.
Theresa Allen
HEADCorp Board Member
Theresa is the Chief Operating Officer for a mid-size structural engineering firm. She discovered her passion for outreach in both her local community and globally in high school, and has continued to find her joy in serving others to date. She has actively supported various efforts in Haiti, including Living Water International, Rise Against Hunger and HEADCorp. She was excited and honored to join the HEADCorp Board in 2022.
